BLACK BOTTOM CUPCAKES WITH CARAMEL FROSTING!!! Well there’s another office birthday and the birthday boy likes cheesecake. Perfect reason to try out black bottom cupcakes (chocolate cupcakes with a cheesecake center). I used a recipe from Smitten Kitchen and they turned out super tasty! Frosting isn’t required on these types of cupcakes, but 1. I thought caramel frosting would taste awesome with chocolate and cheesecake (I was right) and 2. I have a wedding order next weekend and needed to practice my frosting rose swirl. Not too shabby. I’ll have to tidy up the edges for the wedding ones though.
